PAK SPECTRA ROSE SHADE
The PAK Spectra Rose Shade is engineered to boost blue, red, and far-red light, providing multiple advantages and functions. It can improve essential nutrient levels, increase the quantity of flowers, and augment leaf size beyond what natural light alone can achieve. Uniform light distribution from the shade cloth promotes consistent crop growth, affecting leaf number and size, desired stem lengths, and overall plant vitality. Offering a 25% shade rate, it ensures an ample amount of light for growth. It acts as a convenient alternative to altering the lighting system for varying light needs; one can easily add or remove shading or employ rose-colored lighting. The round monofilament yarns facilitate high light transmission with consistent diffusion, in contrast to tape yarns. Constructed from 100% virgin high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with added UV protection, the shade cloth boasts long-lasting durability. Its finished edges simplify installation, eliminating the need for tape or grommets, and maintain integrity when cut.
The PAK SPECTRA ROSE SHADE is suitable as a lightweight hail netting. It not only lessens the impact of hail but also aids in dispersing heavy rain, thereby reducing damage to young plants. When properly installed, it additionally serves as a physical deterrent to birds and large insects.
COMMON CUSTOMER QUESTIONS
Why rose color?
Rose, a precise blend of red and blue shade cloth, supports the highest light transmission to plants compared to any other color. Red and Far Red can increase terpene content, which enhances nutrition, taste, and aroma. Blue aids in the creation and utilization of anthocyanins, which contribute to plant coloring and the plant's ability to manage stress.
How does this compare to natural light?
While natural light provides all the Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) necessary for plants, supplementing with rose nutrients helps plants absorb light more efficiently, increases flower production, and enhances flavor.
How does this compare to growing plants with HPS (High Pressure Sodium) or LED?
Some LED and HPS bulbs are capable of providing a full PAR spectrum. Incorporating rose-colored shade cloth or bulbs can aid plants in absorbing the available PAR, while also offering additional benefits derived from the blend of red, blue, and far-red light.
I bought knitted from someone else, the color faded and then it fell apart, how is yours different?
Some companies opt for recycled UV resin, but we insist on using only first-use resin. Our fabric is designed with sufficient UV protection to endure the most intense, sunny conditions in the US, ensuring the longevity of our products.
